Voice recordings and privacy

Read Aloud audio is only captured when the student presses record — there is no background recording.

• Recordings are automatically deleted within 30 days of being created. During that window the student can replay their own recordings.
• After deletion the scores and transcript remain, but the audio itself can't be recovered.
• For scoring, audio is sent to an AI pronunciation-assessment service (Azure AI Speech, in the US).

A guardian can choose not to use Read Aloud (other features still work) and can request deletion of specific or all recordings. See the Privacy Policy for details.
